DESCRIPTION

  • Contains palmitoylethanolamide (P.E.A), a natural compound with analgesic properties that has been shown to relieve the symptoms of chronic pain in dogs.
  • Is documented to counteract inflammation, pain and itchiness in dogs.
  • Is documented to be effective in reducing pruritus and skin lesions and improving quality of life in dogs with moderate atopic dermatitis and moderate pruritus.

INGREDIENTS

Each 500 mg scoop contains:
Ultra-micronised Palmitoylethanolamide (P.E.A) 200 mg
Sunflower lecithin 300 mg

CAUTIONS

Ultra-micronised P.E.A has a long track record of use in veterinary medicine with good-to-excellent tolerability. Unlike other chronic pain medications, no serious side-effects or adverse drug-drug interactions have been reported with the use of P.E.A.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE & STORAGE

Give 1 flat scoop per 10kg of body weight once or twice daily in food, or as recommended by your animal healthcare professional.

Give the higher dose of 1 flat scoop per 10 kg body twice daily for more severe or chronic conditions or to get on top of flare-ups. You can give the higher dose for 2-4 weeks, then reduce back down to a maintenance dose of 1 flat scoop per 10 kg of body weight (ideally, split across two meals)

CAT DOSING
P.E.A Plus is also suitable for cats.
As a general guide, give 1/2 flat scoop once daily in food.

Because cats can be challenging when it comes to supplements, always start with a smaller amount than recommended and build up gradually to the full dose. This will help with taste compliance; some cats may also respond well to a lower dose than stated.

Store below 25 C in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Keep container tightly closed.
