Exercise caution in animals with a history of gastric sensitivity. Devils Claw may pose a risk of gastric distress and it is advisable to administer it with food to minimize the potential for stomach upset.

Avoid using Devils Claw in animals on medication for cardiovascular diseases, especially in older dogs on heart medications.

Higher doses of Devils Claw may lead to sedation in some animals.

Add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of leaves to a cup of hot water and allow to infuse for 2-3 minutes before straining and serving. Ensure the tea has cooled adequately before presenting it to your dog.
